At Fresh St. Market's Seafood Department, we provide a wide variety of fresh, high-quality products with a strong emphasis on local and specialty items crafted to meet and exceed our customer's expectations. We assist customers with any inquiry and maintain the cleanliness of product shelves and storage areas.

Reporting to the Store Leader, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Job Duties

• Leadership through mentoring the company vision, mission, core values
• Consistently deliver excellent service experience for both internal and external customers
• Hire, train, lead, and empower the team to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Responsible for daily scheduling needs and applying labour optimization
• Product merchandising; New product/program execution
• Handle orders, inventory, and shrink management
• In charge of the department's financial key objectives are achieved
• Communication with the team on business performance, new initiatives, and other pertinent issues
• Run it like it's your business
• Ensure health and food safety standards are performed through Standard operating procedures

Street Credentials

• Must have valid work authorization in Canada
• Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
• 2+ years of proven experience in a Seafood environment or related field
• 2+ years of Leadership experience in a retail service environment
• Food Safe and First Aid Certification are considered assets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Work well with others in a fast-paced environment
• Physical Requirements are required as a Leader in Fresh St. Market

Salary: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
