About Us:
The Town of Kindersley is a vibrant and welcoming community located in the heart of Saskatchewan. We take pride in our beautiful parks and green spaces, contributing to a high quality of life for our residents. As we gear up for the summer season, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Seasonal Parks Labourers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep of municipal parks, including but not limited to mowing, weeding, and pruning.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of flower beds, shrubs, and trees.
- Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools. • Participate in litter collection and waste disposal efforts within the parks.
- Support special events and activities taking place in municipal parks.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a clean and safe environment for the community.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or related field is an asset.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment, including lawn mowers and trimmers.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting and bending.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining park aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Availability to work weekdays and occasional weekends.
