The Security Analyst is a member of the MSS team. The incumbent monitors systems and provide subject matter expertise in security operations and technical support to various clients.
Duties and responsibilities
The incumbent is responsible for the following:
• Provide technical consulting services to clients on:
o Network security architecture planning;
o Operational Security Support;
o Security incident management;
o Security Information and Event Management
o IT infrastructure documentation;
o Change management / implementation
• Provide technical consulting services to clients on the network security controls required for the development of enhancements and the implementation of new and/or ongoing business systems.
• Monitor managed security devices behaviors and network activities for security issues and take actions according to policy.
• Document security and operation incidents by creating tickets according to internal corporate policies and client policies.
• Answers clients' inquiries via ticket in a professional and timely manner;
• Provide subject matter expertise and technical support to our various clients ranging from banking to law enforcement.
Other responsibilities:
• Install, maintain and upgrade IT security hardware software (firewalls, IPS, VPN, vulnerability management, etc.);
• Provide security subject matter expertise to clients in proactive analysis or in incident response scenarios
• Provide technical consulting services to the clients on the network security controls required for the development of enhancements and the implementation of new and/or ongoing business systems;
• Assist in the development and upgrades of a secure network solution architecture and project plans; Customer interaction and presentation
Qualifications
• Bachelors or college degree of computer science, computer engineering or other relevant degree;
• 3 years of relevant experience in telecommunications, networking or systems integration consulting;
• Experience networking and telecommunications integration, design and architecture;
• Relevant certification:
o Fortinet (NSE4 +)
o Check Point (CCSA+)
o Cisco (CCNA+)
o Other relevant certifications such as CISM, SANS, CISSP, etc.
• Experience in the fulfillment and delivery of proposed solutions;
