What does a Security Supervisor in Regina do?
-Control and Manage shift (Supervise and Manage Schedules)
-Appropriate direction given to the guard staff(Provide On the job training and coaching)
-Ensure all shifts duties are completed
-Review all Incidents reports for accuracy and thoroughness
-Ensure appropriate follow-up initiated regarding incidents and site security concern
-Identify training needs or requirement (self/others)
-Perform on-going performance reviews
-Maintain security records
-Perform Security Desk Duties
-Perform other such duties as directed by the client
-Trained on handling of the following areas: Fire, Police and building evacuation.
-Perform site scheduling duties
-Document work deficiencies and assist/plan improvement initiatives
-Inspect the site for Health and Safety compliance.
-To complete monthly reports
Qualifications to become a Security Supervisor in Regina
-Good verbal and written communication skills.
-Minimum 1-3 years as a Security Supervisor
-First Aid Level C CPR and AED
-Saskatchewan Security Guard License Training Certificate (we can help you get this)
-Clean criminal background check
-Strong computer skills.
-Pass a Drug and Alcohol test
-Customer service oriented.
-Must be able to stand and sit for a long period of time.
-Steel toe boots required
-Ability to work in a stressful environment if incidents occur.
