Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:30pm, Saturday 8:00am to 12:30pm

Rate of Pay: $18.45 per hour

Commissionaires NB&PEI Division is looking to a hire mature and responsible team member in Woodstock, NB to work in a government facility.

The Role: The Security Officer is responsible to enforce established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information on the worksite.

We are seeking candidates with:

• Physical fitness to perform rounds (including stairs) of the property, may also require standing or sitting for extended periods of time and to respond to emergency situations
• Strong communication and dispute resolution skills
• A positive, proactive, problem-solving approach to tasks
• Customer service experience

The successful candidate must be able to:

• Maintain high levels of confidentiality
• Demonstrate sound judgement in addressing conflict situations
• Respond to emergency situations

Designated Veteran Status is an asset but is not a requirement for the position.
