Senior Accountant

Job description

Pipe & Piling Supplies Ltd. is a major producer and supplier of steel pipe and one of the largest distributors of steel piling in Canada.

We have an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic Accounting Coordinator.

Duties:

- Prepare daily deposits of checks

- Process accounts payables checks and other payment methods

- Monthly GST/PST/HST reports

- Bank reconciliation

- Prepare end of month journal entries and adjustments including Inventory, Foreign exchange adjustments, prepaid accounts, accruals,

- Sales reports

- Analyzing Financial statements monthly and prepare the reports

- Participate the annual financial audit process

Requirements:

-Fully Bilingual (French and English)

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage 300

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data

- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
