My client located in the West Island is looking for a Senior Accountant. This will be in charge of the complete cycle. This is a permanent hybrid position.
Your responsibilities:
* Ensure monthly general ledger activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and analyses, are completed timely and accurately.
* Analyze discrepancies and provide relevant explanations.
* Lead the creation of the financial reporting information package to
the intention of our affiliated companies.
* Define, simplify, improve and automate processes and procedures using continuous improvement methodology.
* Participate in the budget development process and provide support during annual financial audits
Your ideal profile:
* 5 to 8 years of experience in accounting.
* Experience in financial analysis.
* Advanced skills in producing impactful reports with Excel.
* Experience with SAP, an asset.
* Ease into a role that values autonomy.
* Ability to solve complex problems and evolve in a
environment focused on continuous improvement.
* Attention to detail.
