Senior Accountant

PHAHMED Accounting and Business Consulting is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong tax qualifications as a CPA in Canada/Quebec, coupled with extensive experience in corporate and personal accounting. *Requirements:*

•⁠ ⁠CPA designation in Canada/Quebec with a focus on tax

•⁠ ⁠Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate and personal accounting

•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in GST and QST regulations

•⁠ ⁠Demonstrated expertise in bookkeeping and financial statement preparation

•⁠ ⁠Experience in handling small to medium-sized corporate taxes

•⁠ ⁠Proficient in personal tax filings

•⁠ ⁠Knowledge of federal and provincial regulations for corporation opening

•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and client management skills

*Responsibilities:*

•⁠ ⁠Manage GST and QST filings for clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

•⁠ ⁠Conduct bookkeeping duties and prepare accurate financial statements for client businesses

•⁠ ⁠Provide comprehensive tax planning and preparation services for corporate and personal clients

•⁠ ⁠Handle corporate tax matters for small to medium-sized businesses, including tax planning and compliance

•⁠ ⁠Prepare personal tax returns for clients, optimizing deductions and minimizing liabilities

•⁠ ⁠Assist clients with the process of opening corporations at both federal and provincial levels

•⁠ ⁠Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing expert advice on financial matters

Salary: $80,000.00-$93,557.48 per year
