The Business Transformation team is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to work with service providers, external stakeholders, and internal partners to manage and ensure optimization of financial systems and business processes. This position has a ministry-wide perspective aimed at improving both efficiency and effectiveness through well designed financial processes and internal controls. You will be involved in the successful implementation of major and complex projects intended to increase the functionality of the ministrys financial payment systems, implement policy and operational changes, as well as new program development. This position could potentially work from any location in Saskatchewan. This is being reposted for one of two available positions, those that had previously submitted an application need not reapply.
You will have knowledge of
Ministry programs, policies, business processes, systems, and financial standards. This will be used to create process and risk mitigation frameworks. The qualified candidate will possess a degree in commerce or business administration supplemented with related experience. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation will be considered an asset.
