Salary: $33-$35/hour DOE
Our client in Surrey is currently looking to fill their Senior Bookkeeper role. They work in a relaxed environment, in upscale modern offices and lean into technology while retaining a relational approach with customers and employees. This role is a full-time permanent role. All considered candidates will need to take a Bookkeeping & MS Excel assessment before an in-person interview with the client.
Responsibilities
- Utilize your expertise with bookkeeping to manage financial transactions, including A/R and A/P, collections & general ledgers
- Support & assist other bookkeepers in resolving issues
- Maintain & reconcile financial records, bank statements & credit card statements with meticulous attention to detail
- Facilitate the year-end financial statement preparation process
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Leverage your proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise to optimize software functionality, streamline processes & troubleshoot issues
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency & accuracy of financial operations
- 5 years minimum, of proven bookkeeping experience
- 3 years of working experience with QuickBooks Enterprise/Desktop for comprehensive financial management
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional bookkeeping credentials (certifications etc.)
- Intermediate to Advanced skills for MS Excel
- Exceptional organizational skills & attention to detail
