Our Marketing & Communications team is currently seeking a Senior Communications Specialist, to join our talented team in Toronto.


The Senior Communications Specialist guides and supports the Canadian region’s marketing and communications efforts. They shall enhance and protect Introba's brand reputation by raising awareness of our subject matter experts (SMEs), projects, and company purpose across target audiences. In coordination with other corporate marketing and communications team members, strategically manage projects with intent.

Responsibilities:
Sales Operations Management
  • Act as the first point of contact on the marketing team for the Canadian region’s Market Leaders, Subject Matter Experts, and Business Development teams
  • Assess all inbound requests, evaluating for fit within the marketing team’s strategy and objectives
  • Project manage all qualified requests from initiation through execution and evaluation. This includes the preparation of sales materials, including writing, editing, and formatting promotional emails, collateral, and presentations, ensuring that material is accurate, timely, well-written, and on brand
  • Establish and lead regular communication channels among marketing and sales counterparts to ensure teams are aligned in current activities, trends, customer feedback, business needs, etc.
  • Consistently drive improvements in the collaboration between sales and marketing teams, initiating activities to maximize efficiencies and create scale
  • Coordinate award submissions, industry surveys, and other marketing recognition vehicles
  • Be a corporate ambassador at events, conferences, and similar functions as needed

Content Management

  • Lead the strategy, creation, and execution of social media campaigns within various platforms to build awareness, engage partners, and grow our audience
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and Subject Matter Experts to translate business objectives into comprehensive content strategies
  • Repurpose existing, high-value content to target different audiences and mediums
  • Develop, organize, and maintain a content calendar
  • Stay up to date on new content marketing and social media tools, best practices, and how other organizations and companies are using them
  • Support internal communications, as needed, to promote the company culture and its employees
  • Ensure all content is consistent with and supports the overall brand strategy and identity
  • Assist with creating promotional material related to local events
  • Procure project descriptions, photos, and relevant project data to assist with the creation of project case studies
  • Help implement and support the management of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system- OpenAsset
Qualifications:
  • At least eight years of experience in a marketing role, with at least half in an agency or consulting services setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge and strong understanding of the building engineering industry and sustainability practices are highly preferred
  • Experience and familiarity with digital tools to generate communications collateral, notably Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to turn ideas into compelling narratives
  • Demonstrated poise and a leadership style that will instill confidence and trust among internal and external leadership
