Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Senior Controls Engineer for a 1-year Contract role in Mississauga, ON. This position offers a competitive salary of $60-$65 per hour, commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will contribute to automation and equipment design projects, ensuring technical excellence and meeting customer requirements.

  • Pay rate: $60-$65 per hour.

  • Location: Mississauga, ON

  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm

  • Job type: 1-year contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for automation and equipment design initiatives, ensuring alignment with engineering principles and customer requirements.

  • Lead project planning, subcontracting, and resource allocation, while prioritizing and tracking progress.

  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to troubleshoot startup issues and ensure project completion within timelines.

  • Design automation solutions, conduct risk assessments, and develop validation plans and protocols.

  • Adhere to quality management and health & safety policies, demonstrating integrity and corporate values.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent.

  • 7-10 years of engineering experience, with a focus on manufacturing or industrial controls.

  • Proficiency in automation and Controls Engineering concepts and design.

  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with Allen Bradley suite, PLCs, and manufacturing integration preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving business impact.

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
