about this team
The Brand Creative Team is responsible for setting and executing against the vision for what lululemon looks, feels, and sounds like in our communications, campaigns, brand initiatives and media. We develop World-class creative that engages and resonates with our guests and our broader collective, both Globally, and within Region.

a day in the life: what you’ll do

CREATIVE EXECUTION AND OVERSIGHT 
  • Oversee creative project from concept to delivery 
  • Develop powerful presentation approaches, styles and techniques to deliver high quality work on time and on budget 
  • Drive work against defined timelines and facilitate progress 
  • Maintain brand consistency across and throughout all marketing projects 
  • Develop campaign creative concepts, copy, content websites, social media, and other marketing materials 
  • Write and support for creative center development (Global/Regional) 
  • Have a firm awareness of current visual and cultural trends 
  • Translate complex ideas into clear stories with tangible benefits for our audience 
  • Work closely and independently with Senior Designer to refine concepts, images, copy, and layouts 
  • Participate in cross-functional ideation sessions 

OVERSIGHT
  • Review junior copywriters’ work to ensure high quality 
  • Review and problem solve timelines and resource needs with team and manager to ensure delivery of creative on time and on budget 
  • Inspire, motivate and mentor copywriters on the team 
  • Identify ways to elevate processes within projects and processes for the team overall

skills
  • Exceptional language skills and ability to tell stories in clear, succinct copy that strikes the balance between tone and clarity
  • Compelling presentation skills to build and share inspiring stories with credibility, clarity, and confidence 
  • Experience writing for and managing small- to-large-scale projects with a variety of stakeholders
  • Clearly identify opportunities and communicate creative and copy rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders; be open to their feedback 
  • Provide support and feedback to teammates 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Conceptual thinker, self-starter and creative executer 
  • Excellent verbal and written Skills (creative and comms) 
  • Ability to navigate current creative software 
  • Experienced in Microsoft Word 
  • Strong collaborator and relationship-builder 
  • Tolerance for ambiguity 
  • High level of production skill and expertise

experience
  • 5-8 years professional experience 
  • Bachelor’s in English, Communications, Journalism, etc. or equivalent experience 
  • Agency or client-side background 
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong 360 copywriting skills and involvement in creating engaging assets across multiple mediums and platforms 
  • Knowledge of Smartsheet, Invision and Miro an advantage
