Groupe Marcelle is currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Manufacturing and Supply Chain for a permanent full-time position.

Reporting to the Manager, Finance Operations, the incumbent must have strong communication, analytical and organizational skills. Working closely with the production, purchasing and logistics teams, she/he plays a key role in the analysis, management and communication of the financial performance of our manufacturing operations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE
  • Perform different variance analyses in order to identify opportunities to improve the profitability of our manufacturing operations (e.g., explain variance with purchase price (PPV), material utilization, labor variance, etc.).
  • Responsible for the month-end process related to costing and gross margin.
  • Perform reconciliation of end-of-period inventory reports.
  • Prepare annual budget and forecast related to production expenses and standard costs.
  • Lead and oversee the annual standard cost review process.
  • Participate in the cost review process for new product launches and promotions.
  • Prepare various reports and analyses for the management team.
  • All other related duties associated with the accounting department.
  • Employee supervision.
WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE
  • University degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA designation.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in costing in a similar position in the manufacturing industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting standards and costing.
  • Knowledge of an ERP system (JDE an asset).
  • Extensive computer knowledge in a Microsoft Office environment.
  • People management skills.
AND IF YOU ARE
  • Bilingual, French and English, both written and spoken, as the person will have to work with different collaborators across Canada.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
