This is a terrific leadership opportunity for a high-tech professional to help transform the organization by supporting one of the most significant strategic mandates within Bell, delivering Artificial Intelligence (AI) and delivering Advanced Analytics capability. As a Senior Manager of AI, you will have the opportunity to use your AI expertise and leadership skills to shape the next generation of Generative & conventional AI and ML and transform how Bell operates.

You'll be building the strategy for the AI and Analytics team within Network and Technology Services (NTS) Organisation. Your team will build products and services that deliver on the promise of AI by solving complex, high-value business problems and work in a highly collaborative environment using Agile methodologies to understand, develop, and iterate on solutions that meet customer needs – all with access to world-class, cutting edge AI tools within a cloud environment.

• Drive the strategy for AI and ML practice with the blend of business and technical acumen.
• Establish the Enterprise AI Governance and model monitoring practice for Bell across the AIOps/MLOps build lifecycle
• Provide leadership support in AI Technical committee and SteerCo to drive cross functional collaboration
• Drive the consistent AI tools adoption strategy with user community with key emphasis on the re-usability architecture.
• Work with vendors and partners to drive innovation and bring outside-in perspective on AI advancements to the team.
• As a people leader, coach the data scientists, architects and engineers for their ongoing career development within this space.
• Establish AI NTS PMO function to socialise and drive better visibilities across Bell on key use case implementation.
• Ensure the team builds and delivers model by following the responsible AI practice set by the Bell AI committee.
• Your team also provides data analysis, dash boarding, and reporting capabilities to promote advance analytics and visualisation
• Prepare data to support models, and build reporting to support model evaluation
• Managing internal partnerships across the organization to align and ensure adoption of AI vision and execution
• Persuade Business domains and users as to why they should leverage the Enterprise AI framework to build AI products.
• Support a multi year roadmap for AI Transformation within Bell
• Leading a team of 6 - Data Scientists, Business and Data Analysts

The Senior Manager AI and Analytic in Machine Learning must have the following critical qualifications:

• 12+ experience in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of leading AI team including the development and implementation of AI and Analytics solution.
• Strong technical skills in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for Artificial Intelligence and its potential to impact the world.
• A strong understanding of the business implications of AI and analytics

• Advanced knowledge of AI model evaluation and monitoring
• Theoretical understanding of neural networks, backpropagation, and optimization algorithms with emphasis on mathematical understanding
• Experience in the telecom and/or call centre operation sector

• Work independently and as part of a team
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in AI and analytics
• Be passionate about innovation and creativity
• A strong background in AI and analytics
• Experience in leading and managing teams
• Self motivated to deliver high-quality solutions and venture into the unknown!
• Demonstrated experience to attract, retain and develop strong talent and build a positive organization and team culture
• Experience working closely with VP level executives
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate across the team and work closely with stakeholders
• Strong business acumen, with an appreciation for the opportunities and constraints that accompany an ever-evolving competitive environment
• Proven project management and change management skills
