What will you work on?


The Senior Manager, Financial Reporting, will report to the VP, Financial Reporting Investor Relations. This is a hybrid role that will be leading a significant portion of our Digital Transformation Project (SAP Upgrade) as well as leading a team that is responsible for producing high quality Financial Reporting designed for management review and analysis for all three of our Creative Centers (Toys, Entertainment, and Digital Games) as well as our Corporate costs and Consolidated entity.


How will you create impact?

  • Support the Digital Transformation Project for Finance including:
    • Identifying process improvement opportunities and proposing ideas for innovation to improve current process practices and introduce system efficiencies
    • Reviewing project artifacts to ensure design/solution achieves business requirements
    • Leading project members to ensure project deliverable are achieved on time
    • Liaising with various stakeholders (including the Senior Leadership Teams) to inform suggested future state processes and coordinate feedback and approvals as required
    • Leading data gathering and analysis activities and user acquisition testing
    • Documenting future state processes
    • Coordinating the change management process with various stakeholders
       
  • Lead the Internal Reporting Cycle including:
    • People manage 4 direct reports while project managing the day to day process of the internal reporting team
    • Support different department needs from a management analysis and reporting perspective
    • Manage the preparation of the monthly reporting packages to the Senior Leadership Team
    • Key contributor to the quarterly Management’s Discussion and Analysis
    • Owner of the Creative Center (Toys/Entertainment/Digital Games) = CPG reporting models
    • Liaise with key stakeholders throughout the business
    • Continuous improvement within the reporting processes
    • Support the internal and external quarterly reviews and year end audits

What are your skills and experience?

  • CPA designation preferred
  • 7+ years’ experience either from a public accounting firm or public company setting
  • Strong accounting and Financial Reporting expertise (IFRS preferred) International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Experience with SAP and BPC is mandatory and experience/advanced knowledge in SAP master data and automation of reports
  • Experience in a global company with exposure to large company projects/ transformations and enhancements
  • Experience managing a minimum of 2 direct reports
  • Advanced computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office (Pivots, V-Lookups, and advanced formulas)
