Senior Marketing Coordinator

Morison Insurance is currently seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our digital marketing team! This role is 100% onsite, based out of our Hamilton office.

Morison Insurance is a family-owned and operated insurance brokerage. Over the past 30 years, our company has grown from 1 office with 3 employees in downtown Hamilton, to 100 employees in 7 offices across Southern Ontario.

Position Responsibilities

Working together with our experienced digital marketing team, you will:

• Work with our Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing strategy, roadmap and editorial plan in support of business development efforts
• SEO execution and strategy support (including keyword research, optimization of content, content production, SERPs, and more)
• Assist with writing compelling content for our website landing pages and blogs
• Analyze, research, implement and report data-driven insights to support the success of our marketing strategy
• Collaborate with our marketing team to grow results across many projects
• Support with website maintenance (WordPress)
• Support with social media initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements for You To Succeed

• 3-4 years of experience in a marketing role
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong editorial, writing, and proofreading skills
• Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, email marketing, social media and SEO content writing
• Experience using WordPress, Google Analytics
• Insurance industry experience would be an asset
