As the Senior PeopleSoft Technical Analyst, you will ensure the smooth operation and evolution of the corporation's enterprise systems. These are highly complex applications that integrate business processes of diverse departments within the corporation. This position collaborates with business process owners, clients, managers, supervisors and peers to ensure that the enterprise systems meet the business, technical, and infrastructure requirements of the corporation, business units, end users and external partners. The Senior Technical Analyst works on system enhancements and software development projects, analyzing, designing and implementing software solutions to support business performance improvements.  Primary duties include:

  • Analyze, design, develop, implement and support technology-enabled enterprise business and infrastructure solutions as part of a high-talent team of professionals.
  • Support the process of defining project requirements, design and test deliverables, support training procedures, manage and implement solutions for small projects or enhancements.
  • Support the process of collaborating with clients, IT service providers and peers to identify future opportunities and solutions for business problems.
  • Provide training of peers, clients and end-users on production ready software solutions.
  • Document technical design specifications, support the preparation of updates to standards documents, and support the delivery of presentations and training documentation to clients and peers.
 
Qualifications 
  • A completed 2-year diploma in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems or related discipline and at least 5 years of PeopleSoft systems development experience; OR
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems and at least 3 years of PeopleSoft systems development experience.
  • Experience related to PeopleSoft software development and implementing those solutions within the Human Capital Management (HCM), Client Relationship Management (CRM) and Interaction HUB (IHUB) applications is required.
  • Experience working with PeopleTools 8.58+, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, Component Interface, DataMover, Common Business-Oriented Language (COBOL), Application Engine, Data Migration Workbench (ADS) and Structured Query Report (SQR) is required.
  • Experience with system integration development is considered an asset.
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft Query, XML Publisher, SQL, HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript is considered an asset.
  • Experience working with Isolate Customization Methods (Event Mapping, Drop Zones and Application Engine Plug In) is considered an asset.
  • You have the capability to work independently, acquire new knowledge and skills quickly, and apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation: Pay Grade 13 $46.38 - 62.06 per hour
Out of Schedule rates: $46.38 - 70.08 per hour. 
This position is presently paid at an Out of Schedule rate to reflect to current market condition. Should market conditions change, the salary may be reviewed and may revert to the base rate. 
Days of Work: This position typically works a 5 daywork week, with 1 day off in each 3 week cycle. 
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
