Markets Pro launched in 2023 and is now available to thousands of merchants in the U.S., with no signs of slowing down. We are entering the new phase of growth as we seek to bring more choices to our merchants. As part of our investment in growing Markets Pro , we are developing the best in class ecosystem of partners to scale the product. Our partners are the extension of our teams - from logistic carriers to 3PLs and technology partners, our objective is to partner with the best providers to accelerate international growth for our merchants.
We are looking for a Senior Partnership Lead to join our Markets team and own the execution of the roadmap for Markets Partnerships. You will work closely with our shipping and ecosystem partnership team and will be responsible for growing some of our most important existing partner relationships in this space as well as building new ones, based on robust business cases and joint value propositions with the partner.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and managing partnerships. They will be responsible for identifying and developing relevant partnerships. The Senior Partnership Lead will also be responsible for supporting our cross-functional GTM efforts, as well as tracking and measuring partnership performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow new and existing partnerships
- Identify and develop new partnerships to support product development (market expansion, innovation/cost reduction opportunities, opportunity to create unique value proposition in-market)
- Track and measure partnership performance
- Manage all aspects of partnership relationships, including contract negotiations, financial performance, and GTM performance.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance to other members of the partnership team
Qualifications
- Experience in international commerce - you understand the implications and details of global transactions (across products, carriers, law, tax, duties, etc.).
- Experience in structuring a partnership business, owning prioritization and ROI monitoring / financial modeling; reporting back / driving future-looking strategy.
- Experience working across multiple functions, comprising many stakeholders and influencing factors. You can work well as part of a team and as an individual contributor.
- Experienced in articulating joint business cases and value propositions for potential partners, with an ability to stretch known partnership models to unique partner's requirements.
- You excel at establishing and growing mutually beneficial business relationships, with C-level stakeholders.
- You're a self-starter, proactive, and able to handle uncertainty, while demonstrating your own initiative and product thinking.
- Ability to travel (up to 25% of the time).
- Product owner mindset: you'll optimize for our product capabilities by working closely to gain merchant feedback, implement this strategy into the roadmap by partnering with product management. Ultimately contributing to building delightful products for our merchants and end users.
