We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a critical, high-profile project for our client at a major industrial site in Saskatchewan. This role involves overseeing a major Capital Expenditure (CapEx) initiative, within a new greenfield facility. The project includes the installation of two turbines, currently in the detailed engineering phase. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in steering the project from initiation to completion estimated at just over two-years, focusing on concrete foundations, buildings, piping, and mechanical aspects.
As the Senior Project Manager you will:
- Proactively take charge to lead and manage the project, ensuring a hands-on approach with strong project management skills.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, suppliers, and local communities.
- Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.
- Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality potash products.
- Manage all personnel, including subcontractors within the project(s), and facilitate good site team relationships.
As the Senior Project Manager, you will bring:
- Bachelors degree in mining engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager with a focus on hands-on project delivery.
- Strong background in concrete foundations, buildings, piping, and mechanical aspects.
