As a Senior Technical Analyst, you will work on PeopleSoft applications including Human Capital Management (HCM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Finance and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) and PeopleSoft Interaction HUB. Your responsibilities will range from managing PeopleSoft infrastructure to day-to-day application support. You will support complex customizations, interfaces and reports using PeopleTools and related 3rd party software for example Business Intelligence (BI) publisher, nVision, SQR.

Primary duties include:

  • Build a comprehensive understanding of requirements, design and propose solutions along with accurate time estimates for clients, and ensure solution uses approved tools, techniques, and follows corporate standards.

  • Prepare technical design documentation and perform unit testing and functional testing.

  • Collaborate with Information Technology (IT) service providers and peers to identify future opportunities and solutions for business problems.

  • Provide PeopleSoft advice and recommendations to other technical teams and suggest changes to established methods, tools, and techniques where applicable.

 
Qualifications 
  • A completed 2 year diploma in Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Math or Engineering, supplemented by formal systems development training with at least 5 years of systems development experience with 3 years that must include using PeopleTools 8.57+, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interface, SQR¿s, and BI Publisher.; OR

  • A degree in Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Math or Engineering with at least 3 years of PeopleSoft Infrastructure support experience which must include using PeopleTools 8.57+, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interface, SQR¿s, and BI Publisher.

  • Working knowledge of SQL, web services and a solid foundation in software development methods, practices and procedures will be considered assets.

  • You are able to work independently, acquire new knowledge and skills quickly, and apply your analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Success in this position requires strong communications skills and the ability to relay information in both technical and non-technical formats.

Compensation: Pay Grade 13 $46.38 - 62.06 per hour 

Out of schedule rates: $57.66 - 70.08 per hour.  
This position is presently paid at an Out Of Schedule rate toreflect current market conditions. Should market conditions change, 

the salary may be reviewed and may revert to the base rate.

Days of Work: This position typically works a 5 day 
work week, with 1 day off in each 3 week cycle. 
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
