What is the opportunity?
The Senior Technical Business Analyst (Disaster Recovery Compliance Specialist) is an integral member of the T&O Disaster Readiness team, using initiative and independence born of experience to jump in and support a variety of projects and requirements. The incumbent will collaborate across the DR Team to monitor for compliance gaps/risks, support regulatory initiatives, and drive efficiencies in disaster readiness. We are looking for a self-starter who can learn and question, engage, and contribute to improving processes and help us evolve.
What will you do?
- Become a subject matter expert on the DR Standard and supporting processes
- Spot inconsistencies in records and reports; communicate and resolve
- Contribute to knowledge articles to support our customer teams
- Contribute to data centre recovery playbooks for senior management
- Support enhancements to our DR tool by testing QA and UAT environments
- Escalate technical questions to support solutioning for customer teams
- Log, monitor, and update DR-related Risk Findings
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have:
- Min 5 years experience in a related area; risk, compliance, audit, or disaster recovery
- Experience in the financial industry or another heavily regulated industry
- Experience in technology groups, especially from a risk assessment perspective
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Track record of collaborating effectively with multiple groups and teams
- Attention to detail and superior writing and communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Disaster Recovery concepts and principles
- Experience using ServiceNow
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, and/or Tableau
