Server/Cashiers

Harvest Rd. is currently accepting applications for the 2023 season. We are a farm to table grill operating out of a food trailer located at Michell’s Farm on the Saanich Peninsula, along the Lochside Trail. You will be a part of a close knit team that provides a memorable dining experience in a unique setting.

As the Window Server you will get to interact with our guests; many regulars, tourists, and locals. Our guests are happy!

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests and providing excellent customer service
• Retaining menu knowledge and explaining menu items to guests
• Taking guest drink and meal orders efficiently
• Handling cash and working with a point of sale system
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas and the guest seating area
• Stocking
• Helping with kitchen prep and dishes when needed - contributing and participating in a team environment
• Packing and handing out orders

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service
• Ability to create a unique guest experience
• Must have Serving it Right and be at least 19 years of age
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent cleanliness and organization
• Fast learner who is eager to work with a strong work ethic

Starting wage $17/hr plus an amazing tip pool

Full time and part time seasonal employment available.

Starting Date May 7th (second hire could start a bit later)

Staff meal provided with each shift
