Responsibilities:
- Assist service customers from initial contact through to completion of service work by organizing appointments, creating work orders, following up with customers, and overseeing shop coordination.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering service recommendations with assistance of other team members
- Work Closely with Parts, and Warranty team members to provide a seamless customer experience
- Process customer orders and handle cash transactions
- Organize and maintain the service department for easy access and efficient operations
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work progression and advise customers along the way
Qualifications:
- knowledge of automotive, ATV, tractor, RV and boats, with a willingness to learn
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Multilingual skills are a plus, as it may enhance communication with a diverse customer base
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
- Familiarity with CMMS software or the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Previous experience in cashiering, retail sales, or automotive repair is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in the use of computers for scheduling etc.
