Job Summary
Come join the team at Gardner Auctions Inc., one of Southwestern Ontario’s foremost commercial and industrial auction and appraisal firms, which was established in London in 1922.
We are seeking a Part-Time Shelf Stocker . You will be working loading shelving with product, assisting pickups, as well as helping with the showroom and putting together auction orders. This is not your typical job - there is a lot of lifting and moving around so you must be physically fit and able to be on your feet for the duration of your shift, up to 25 hours per week.
You must be reliable, on-time, and have the ability to work, Mondays 1:00pm-6:00pm, Tuesdays 11:00am-6:00pm, Thursdays 1:00pm-6:00pm, Fridays 11:00am-6:00pm, as well as the occasional Saturday 9:45am-3:00pm.
Shelf Stocker Duties:
Ø Unpack and load auction items onto shelving and into showroom.
Ø Warehouse duties as needed.
Ø Checks upcoming auctions for any errors (spelling, incorrect product, incorrect specifications, etc.), and corrects mistakes in a timely fashion.
Ø Communicate with manager regularly.
Ø Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Ø Must be physically fit, able to stand, bend, lift, pivot, sit, etc. for extended periods of time.
Ø Computer proficient.
Ø Must have excellent attention to detail.
Ø Ability to be cross-trained in other departments.
Ø Provide general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning of bathrooms and kitchen, on a rotating basis with colleagues, as well as frequent sanitization of workspace.
Ø Hours may vary dependent on business needs (holidays, absences, etc.)
Ø Ability to work the occasional Saturdays from 9:45am-3:00pm.
Ø Adhere to all Health and Safety and Human Resources policies and procedures.
