Position Title: Shipper & Receiver
Team and Location: Commercial - Grande Prairie, AB
Position Summary
We are looking for Shipper & Receiver for our Grand Prairie warehouse. The Shipper & Receiver is responsible for monitoring and reconciling shipments, order picking, and coordinating the organization and storage of product throughout our department. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to work at an efficient pace within our warehouse systems, standards, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect assets, packaged goods, lubricants and parts.
- Ship product out to other locations, vendors and customers. Manage shipping/receiving documentation including BOLs.
- Provide contact point for all warehouse and yard transaction including shipping quotes.
- Pick and check orders leaving the warehouse. Inspect Assets prior to departure and ensure carriers have required documentation.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Operate wheel loader and forklift to assist customers and staff.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse spaces and yard locations.
- Assist delivery drivers in loading and unloading of bulk and packaged lubricants.
- Decanting bulk lubricants into containers such as totes, drums and pails.
Qualifications and Skills:
- WHMIS & TDG (Provided).
- Forklift Experience.
- Loader Experience.
- Basic computer operation and understanding (Spreadsheets, basic data entry).
- First Aid (Provided).
- Propane Training Institute courses would be considered an asset (PTI 100-1, 100-9 etc).
