We are currently seeking qualified candidates for Shipping Supervisor at our Amherstburg, ON facility, Precision Plastics, with responsibility for the overall supervision, planning, and implementation of daily shipping and receiving operations and submission of required customer, supplier, and plant reports.
Responsibility Overview
- Supervision of shippers ensure their tasks are performed safely, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Pull and separate customer releases.
- Create pull sheets for the shift and for the following day.
- Create DSS sheets and compare vs. inventory.
- Prepare customs paperwork and packing slips.
- Ensure ASNs are completed, sent and accepted.
- Create labels
- Verify and adjust cums when necessary.
- Monitor DDL system on a daily basis answer request, and print screens for verification.
- Conduct physical inventory and cycle counts of finished goods, material, components, and packaging.
- Maintain visual warehousing.
- Provide training, as needed, to material handlers.
- Other duties or tasks as assigned or required.
Qualifications
- OEM experience and specifically Toyota is a significant plus
- 3-5 years of MP&L experience in Automotive Manufacturing
- Supervisory experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office - specifically MS Word and Excel
- DDL/DSS/ASN experience needed
- Ability to rotate shifts a must
