The Shop Assistant is essential to the smooth operation of our shop. This multifaceted role includes maintaining the shop's cleanliness and organization, recycling materials, and providing critical support to our technicians and sales department. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, takes initiative, and works well in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with shop maintenance, cleanliness and organization, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
- Manage the recycling of batteries, wheels, and other materials, adhering to environmental standards
- Support the sales department with specific tasks for vehicles post-reconditioning to prepare them for sale
- Organize and label tires for storage during tire season, managing inventory and storage areas
- Provide logistical support to technicians, aiding in vehicle preparation, movement, and basic maintenance tasks
- Perform parts pick-ups and deliveries when required
- Conduct tire swaps, oil changes and other regular maintenance contributing to shop efficiency

Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

- Valid driver's license
