Shop Foreman

The Shop Foreman is a full-time position where the successful applicant will work under the supervision of the Company Owner. Job Duties include supervising workflow and quality of work in all departments, ensuring projects are communicated to all departments and that they are being completed on time. Assisting in various roles in departments on the shop floor from time to time may be required during pression project periods and to cover absences.

Responsibilities/Accountability

• Attend weekly meetings to establish goals
• Ensure projects are communicated to appropriate departments
• Track workflow to keep jobs on schedule
• Assemble interior elevator walls
• Laminate/glass panel assembly
• Cut, grind, and fit stainless steel and aluminium framework
• Adhere to safe work practices and procedures as well as all other applicable health and safety laws and regulations
• Facilitate the proper handling of chemicals using SDS processes.
• Adhere to Premier Elevator’s policies and procedures
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Time management skills are essential to ensure that material is ready for scheduled work
• Accurate maintenance of production records
• Must handle work with finesse and precision
• Frequent contact with management, and other warehouse employees

Job Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience as a Foreman in the Manufacturing industry
• Experience leading a team
• Intermediate knowledge of hand and power tools and general manufacturing processes
• CNC programing and operation is an asset
• Wood working and sheet metal skills are required
• Experience with laminates, metals, glass, porcelain, trimming, and custom panel assembly
• Thorough understanding of CAD Drawings

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
