Overview: Ascent Transport is looking for an experienced Shop Labourerwith a Class 1 license to add to our Nisku team. The successful candidates' responsibilities include moving trucks and trailers on site as necessary, performing general labour duties and keeping the shop and yard free of debris, hazards and other miscellaneous items to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties: Including but not limited to;

• Clean up worksites from material.
• Assist shop personnel or other employees and managers on-site.
• Handle and transport materials and equipment (e.g. drills and grinders).
• Use power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts) when needed.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks (e.g. digging, stacking up goods).
• Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures.
• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.
• Operate skid steer/loader as needed for miscellaneous tasks.

Qualifications:

• Class 1 license a must.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, good work ethic & attitude.

Compensation: $25 - $30 an hour
