CARSTAR Manitoba is hiring! We are currently seeking a Shop Manager to join our dynamic team! The Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the efforts of the shop. You will perform various tasks to help customers, and our technicians, to ensure that business and store operations are successful. You will be responsible for the continued improvement of performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability at the store level while providing exceptional customer service.

You can expect to be running a team anywhere between 4 – 10 members strong that will consist of certified technicians, painters, apprentices, detailers, and front office staff. Day-to-day tasks would include communication, paperwork, and assisting your team in all aspects of the business to meet operational goals.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years collision Shop Managerial experience
• Equivalent experience in the auto body/collision industry
• Thorough experience with MPI policies and procedures
• Thorough Repair Center, Ultramate, and Mitchell Connect understanding
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• Flexibility to work different shifts/overtime hours as needed
• Comfortable working on the computer in numerous programs and on the phones
• Class 5 Drivers license
• Highly organized
• Detail orientated
• Goal orientated

Salary $40 - $60K commensurate with experience
