We are seeking a motivated, dedicated and intelligent Shop Worker to join our team.

Shop Worker Responsibilities:

• Prepare Materials for Orders
• Assembly of all components in the manufacturing of Custom Wood Doors and Windows
• Ensuring tasks are completed in a safe and timely manner
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ensure production schedules are adhered to
• Safely operate power hand tools and wood working machinery ensuring best practices and safety guidelines are adhered to
• Work closely with Production Manager

Skills Required:

• Experience/knowledge in carpentry or wood product manufacturing. Experience in the manufacturing of wooden windows and doors considered an asset
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Analytical minded
• Ability to make precise cuts maximizing materials and limiting material waste
• Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures
• Excellent time management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Overall positive attitude with self-starter tendencies
• Valid driver's license (preferred)
• Valid Fork Lift Operators license (preferred)

Daily hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Competitive benefit package offered. Compensation will be based on skill level.
