Job Description: As a member of the Care Services Division management team and a clinical leader in the department, the Site Manager, Multidisciplinary Clinical Services is responsible and accountable for supervising the daily organization and administration of the department.
The Site Manager, Multidisciplinary Clinical Services provides program leadership and supervision in psychosocial oncology, nutritional services, palliative care services and volunteer services to staff in their site. This responsibility includes patient and family support services including supporting access to social work, dietitian services, and volunteer services as well as external resources such as psychology, psychiatry, spiritual care, creative therapies, rehabilitation services, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech and language pathology. Types of service commonly offered are decision support, advance care planning, crisis intervention, psychosocial and nutritional counseling.
The Site Manager cultivates an environment where people are valued and inspired to achieving results collectively. They build a strong team with complementary experience and skills. They promote innovative thinking and a collaborative environment within the department by creating an engaging environment, drawing out and utilizing diverse perspectives to generate solutions.
The Site Manager is responsible for developing and monitoring the department budget, is accountable for evaluating and monitoring resource utilization, implementation and evaluation of program/service performance and outcomes within their responsibility.
The Site Manager may be expected to act in the absence of the Director.
