Jardeg Construction is Contracting looking for several Skilled Labourer’s to work out of the Conoco Philips Surmont site South of Fort MacMurray. We are offering competitive wages, work / life balance, great opportunity for advancement, training and potential for work over the winter.
Responsibilities:
- Physical tasks, including digging, sweeping, sampling, lifting, shoveling, moving containers and other heavy materials
- Ensure safety fences / markings are all in place
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed
- Actively participate in all safety meetings
- General site housekeeping
Qualifications:
- Previous construction / Oilfield experience is required
- Understand how to use power/small tools such as plate tampers, carb saws, etc.
- Ability to work long hours (12-hour days) outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical able to perform heavy manual tasks, including lifting, shoveling, moving heavy materials up to 50lbs
- Working understanding of site hazard assessments and able to complete daily safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Be fit for duty and prepared for work each day
- Positive attitude / team player
- Strong communication / listening skills and ability to follow direction
Safety Certifications:
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- A & D Testing is required
Job Duration: January 3, 2023 – March 31, 2023- Benefits after 300 Hours
- 12 Hour Shifts.
- Pay rate $ 36.53.
- Travel Pay
- Overtime Pay
- Camp work.
