Specific Responsibilities
- Drive/operate tandem gravel truck and/or tandem hydroseeder truck
- Operate skid-steers, excavators, hydro-seeding units, and various attachments or implements, efficiently and effectively towards high-quality construction completion
- Mobilization of equipment and materials to sites across Southern Alberta with trucks and trailers, including flat-beds and dump trailers
- Daily inspection and on-site maintenance of trucks and heavy equipment
- Provide physical labour in an outdoor environment as required.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Completing personal administration, including record keeping, correct and timely submission of timesheets, safety reporting, etc.
- Work with a team on projects in Southern Alberta, with possibility for assignments on projects in remote settings requiring overnight stays. (Hotels/Accommodation/LOA provided for remote projects)
- Maintain flexibility on shift scheduling; majority of season is Monday-Friday, but overtime, evenings, and weekends may be required. Working 10 on, 4 off shift may be required for certain projects.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Experience operating skid-steers and/or excavators with a variety of attachments
- Class 3 or Class 1 drivers license
- Prior landscaping, construction, heavy industry, or horticulture experience
- First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, Construction Safety Training System, and company specific orientation required prior to starting work on projects.
