Social Media and Communications Assistant - Community Services and Strategic Partnerships
Purpose & Scope of Position:
The Social Media and Communications Assistant is responsible for providing Social Media and Communications support to the Corporate Communications team.
Requirements:
This position required the incumbent to be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from a two (2) year community college diploma in Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration, Journalism or a related program.
A minimum of three (3) months experience in a communications or public relations environment is required. The successful candidate will also have experience with planning, creating, implementing, and measuring high-quality Social Media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Remuneration: 2024 Non Union Salary Band 3: $25.71 per hour; 4% vacation.
Note: This is a seasonal position with full time hours from May to October.
