What you will do

This role is to provide remote administration and monitoring of physical access security for 1 major client. It is an innovative position that allows the client to have multiple locations remotely monitored by a group of individuals with specialized skills. The procedures for the various locations are customized to meet the individual client’s needs. This versatile role provides support to the CMC Operations in various capacities.

How you will do it

  • Monitor alarms (Access & CCTV) to meet SLA.
  • Provide support to other CMC teams.
  • Monitor CCTV system by performing periodic audits of site cameras.
  • Office environment exposure.
  • Working hours can be 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, Monday to Sunday, Holidays included.
  • Tasks for this position dictate a minimum of 85% of the time be in a sitting position, working on a keyboard, or viewing a computer monitor.
  • The employee may work beyond scheduled hours if relief is late.
  • For the Business Continuity Process, the employee may be required to fulfill the position at the client’s site.

What we look for

Required

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma.
  • Criminal Background Certificate.
  • Familiarity with PC and Lans and software applications (Microsoft Office).
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written, listening, and verbal skills are essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of dispatch processes and protocols.
  • Knowledge of Genetec Security Desk/Mission Control systems is beneficial.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CMC Monitoring Software operations is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of basic network configuration is an asset.
