Manmade is a young yet innovative eCommerce retailer offering high quality essential garments for men. Based in Montreal, Quebec, we design, produce, market, and distribute quality apparel across Canada and soon in the USA as well.

We believe in doing things the right way, even if it may be harder – from sourcing fabric, design, cutting and sewing, and through our online marketing efforts. We have experienced tremendous growth since launch and have also appeared on CBC's Dragons' Den.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Community Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate must be passionate about building community, monitoring comments and direct messages, delivering exceptional customer service and able to handle customer inquiries through email, text message, phone call, and Social Media channels. The position requires fluency in English, and French is an strong asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across Social Media platforms to foster meaningful interactions with the audience.
  • Build and nurture relationships with followers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Enforce community guidelines and policies, ensuring that discussions remain respectful and on-topic. Take appropriate actions against spam, trolls, or inappropriate content.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, such as engagement rates, follower growth, and reach. Use Social Media analytics tools to gather insights and adjust strategies based on data.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer support, and public relations, to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all touchpoints.
  • Support the customer service team especially in community building facets of the business including email and text message channels.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with French being a strong asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • A deep understanding of various Social Media platforms, including their features, trends, and best practices.
  • The ability to create original and engaging content that resonates with the target audience while adhering to the brand's tone and guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with computer applications and Social Media platforms.
  • Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

You must have a Canadian work permit and currently live in Canada. The job requires physical presence in the office during the business' office hours.
