Social Media Intern

Calling Creators and Social Media Lovers! We are seeking a Social Media Intern to join our small team at '99 The Agency - Ottawa Social Media and Creative Agency.

We are a team of two young females who are dedicated to taking a modern approach to Social Media marketing. Our boutique agency offers Social Media management and content creation services to small and growing businesses in Ottawa and beyond. As our Social Media Intern, you will collaborate with our team on creating marketing plans, handling administrative tasks, recording and creating content and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work to our clients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Content Creation (Video, Reels, TikTok)
• Video Editing (Using CapCut, TikTok, In-Shot)
• Graphic Creation/Design using photoshop or Canva
• Weekly newsletter management
• Caption Creation
• Scheduling and Uploading Client Content
• Managing Content Calendars
• Assisting and collaborating on client content plans
• Client Communication and Admin

Requirements:

- Experience with content creation and editing (please send us some examples of your work or a portfolio if applicable!)

- Experience working with Social Media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok (experience managing a Social Media account is a plus)

- Experience with creating graphics in Photoshop and/or Canva

- Located in Ottawa

This will be a Hybrid-Remote position requiring some in person work on a weekly basis during regular 9-5 work hours and some weekends. Opportunity to grow into a Social Media manager position. Note there are no specific set hours - this is a causal/part-time position with the flexibility to work on your own schedule, however, there will be some scheduled meetings and content sessions that will take place in person with clients.
