· Research emerging Social Media trends, bringing forth recommendations regarding how to produce better content, how to leverage new platforms to achieve our goals, etc.

· Provide advice and guidance to the university community as required, including ensuring consistency in style and approaches to Social Media across the institution. This includes assisting with targeted advertising campaigns using Social Media platforms.

· Build and lead a team of student videographers, photographers, and Social Media ambassadors to assist with content creation.

· Monitor StFX brand on Social Media channels to attract new followers, engage in conversations, and keep a pulse on sentiment toward the university.

· A post-secondary degree in a related discipline (i.e., marketing, public relations, communications, business, etc.).

· A Social Media power-user, with 6+ years of experience developing engaging Social Media content.

· Proficient in creating and editing videos and photos.

· Expertise related to the most popular Social Media platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok) including how audiences consume content per platform, and content best practices for each.

· Experience planning, launching, and managing paid Social Media campaigns.

· Experience tracking and monitoring Social Media activity in real-time, with the ability to interpret data metrics to assess performance and/or correct and adjust as needed.

· Demonstrated experience with Google Analytics.

· Highly organized and ability to function in a fast-paced business environment
