Responsibilities

-Receive pre-alerts for incoming shipments
-Create recovery schedule based on all pre-alerts received
-Dispatch runners and line-haul drivers according to schedule
-Resolve any issue arising from recovery attempt

Additional Responsibilities

-Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate customs clearance
-Coordinate pick-up and delivery with bonded warehouse
-Work with Canada Customs and brokers to ensure compliance with the Courier Low Value Shipment Program (CLVS)
-Receive supplier invoices for all tasks performed
-Prepare supplier invoices for payment
-Follow up on supplier invoice payments with AP
-Apply customer contract according to activities performed
-Enter all billable activities into designated computer system
-Work with billing team to ensure clients are invoiced
-Respond to overseas customer queries related to inbound loads
-Prepare monthly CLVS reports for CBSA
-Coordinate with warehouse to manage return shipments

-Attend to destruction of shipments with CBSA supervision
-Ensure signed E15 forms are sent to broker for CREDITS program.
-Arrange return shipments with export shipping agents
-Complete Export declaration in CERS for return shipments
-Routing of shipments and preparation of pre-alert documents
-Booking of all shipments with airlines, steam ship companies and trucking firms
-Oversee consolidation and assembly of shipments at gateway
-Coordinates palletizing, crating etc, for export shipment for GE Accounts
-Document preparation for international Global Expedited shipments, including but not limited to MAWB, HAWB, commercial invoice and certificates of origin
-Working closely with Operations to ensure customer satisfaction
-Work with Bonded warehouses to ensure regulatory compliance as stipulated by the CBSA
Qualifications

-Ability to multi task, accustomed to working with minimal supervision, confident and conscientious
-Proficiency in both International and Cross Border import and export procedures
-Knowledge of Air/Ocean Imports documentation and procedures
-Experience in multiple freight forwarding product offerings
-Experience or demonstrated knowledge is Customs Regulations and bonded warehouse procedures/requirements
-Experience in cutting MAWB, HAWB, Ground Bills of Lading and Export Declarations
-Experience in customs documentation preparation and working knowledge of INCO terms
