The Specialist will be known as the enterprise IT lead and will engage external customers to design, implement and support the best possible solution by providing Tier 2 Technical Support for all customer-facing IT services (including Purolator E-Ship Online, E-Ship Web Services, E-Ship Server, Electronic Data Interchange, etc.) This role will also maintain KPIs related to deployment and production support of physical assets (server, printers, weigh scales, etc.) deployed to customer locations, and support ongoing data integrity, and billing quality initiatives key to the best customer experience.
Job Description
- Primary responsibility of providing on site servicing of Purolator Shipping System hardware / software, and client requirements within assigned territories.
- Responsible for the installation, removal, and demonstration of Purolator Shipping Systems in conjunction with role of Quality & Training Specialist
- Drive quality and automated solutions while ensuring 100% integrity of billing data is maintained.
- Support corporate revenue recovery initiatives.
- Ongoing administration of Customer Integration activities / sales support in assigned area.
- Required operation of Purolator vehicle to/from client sites, meetings, etc.
- Other duties as required.
Desired Skills / Experience
- Community college diploma or equivalent experience
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Sound computer and related peripherals technical troubleshooting skills
- Advanced knowledge of PC based computer hardware and software including networks
- A+ certification
- Lenovo certification preferred
- Knowledge and experience with MySql / Windows 7 & 10 required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows software
- Knowledge of Purolator Sales, ESS, and Sales training an asset
- Quick to understand, learn and apply Purolator’s automated solution offerings (WebServices, API, Custom Development).
- Class 5 MB driver’s license or equivalent
- Must be able to lift and carry computer equipment in and out of client sites, depots and repair centers.
- Ability to travel outside of assigned area
- To have the ability to be bilingual to speak and write in French and English is an asset
