SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST Required To Commence the 2023/2024 School Year St. Paul Education invites applications from qualified individuals for the position of Speech Language Pathologist . The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide effective Speech and Language Therapy services to students in our schools by working collaboratively with students, families, administration, educational staff, and external agencies. Reporting to the Associate Superintendent, the SLP will support and promote the success of all students as part of multidisciplinary teams across the school division. This is a full-time, 10-month continuous position with annual salary, comprehensive benefit plan (including a health & wellness spending account), and pension through the Local Authorities Pension Plan.Preference will be given to applicants who possess: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent. Membership with Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologists (ACSLPA). Knowledge of speech and language milestones for children and the ability to establish high levels of trust and rapport with families and educational staff are required. Advanced communication and collaboration skills. Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of documentation procedures and proficiency with technology. Valid driver's license. Duties of the Speech-Language Pathologist will include: Provide universal, targeted, and individualized support and services. Collaborate with other members of the Inclusive Education Student Supports team. Administer, score and interpret standardized speech-language assessments. Contribute to student IPP development and program planning. Our 19 definable school sites are staffed by approximately 240 FTE teaching staff and 345 support staff.
