Our Opportunity
The Senior Consumer Insights Analyst at Tim Hortons is a strategic partner that will help influence the strategies for Canada’s favourite QSR! This role will be dedicated to uncovering and articulating meaningful insights that will grow Canadians’ connection with the brand. They will be supporting research that will inform our new growth channels: Financial Services, CPG and Retail.
The Senior Analyst role requires a team-oriented, analytical, and insights-curious individual to support these growing teams in achieving strategic goals!
Principal Accountabilities
- Works with your manager on the development, execution and evaluation of custom research projects and analysis of syndicated studies
- Builds strong relationships, collaborates and builds communication processes with internal business partners research suppliers and agencies
- Synthesizes information (often from multiple sources) into a simple and compelling story that will engage the audience
- Provides meaningful and actionable recommendations that ensures partners are making informed decisions that will drive the business forward
- Works with manager to present/communicate results to business partners
- Monitor and appropriately escalate roadblocks for quick resolution
- Actively monitors trends and competitive activities happening in the market
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years in a consumer insights position, from the client or supplier side (client-side experience is an asset)
- Strong curiosity and passion for the consumer
- Strong multi-tasker who can work independently and in a team environment
- Strong data analysis skills
- Quick learner and problem solver who can adapt to a changing marketplace
- Driven and inquisitive individual who proactively anticipates needs and takes initiative to support the business
- Solid business acumen and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Effective analytic story-telling through presentation of insights in a clear, coherent, and compelling format
- Detail-orientated with solid organizational and time management skills
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Financial Service, CPG and/or QSR experience an asset
