The Senior Technology Experience Analyst, Employee Technology Experience and Communication (ETE) is accountable to the ETE team and the Enterprise Technology Employee Experience (ETEE) organization in helping technology deliver a great employee and customer experience. They bring a variety of capabilities to enable and support a range of technology projects, services & initiatives on behalf of all employees for the best Technology Experience.

The Senior Technology Experience Analyst provides subject matter expertise that balances technical skill with design capability across a range of work types. They support clear and compelling communication across the enterprise by designing, developing, and maintaining website and SharePoint portals that are engaging, functional and visually beautiful. They also continually strive and advocate to ensure that all deliverables are fully accessible for all BMO employees.

The Web and Graphic Designer Specialist is:

• Technical: Expert level knowledge of the key Web/SharePoint tools and technologies used at BMO and a view of other industry-leading ones that should be considered
• Artistic: Strong visual aesthetic and design capability with a passion to create beautiful work that is functional and displays a high level of polish
• Adaptable: Comfortable navigating a fast-moving environment that includes regular technological/organizational changes and emerging priorities
• A problem solver who is comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders from within their functional team and beyond - often who do not have strong background in graphic or web design
• An effective and professional communicator across a range of organizational levels, ability to present/facilitate iterative discussion on complex ideas to identify key design requirements and criteria and to synthesize these into wireframes and prototypes
• An individual with strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to draft, design and deliver quality deliverables

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain and (in concert with various stakeholders) develop Web and SharePoint portals to support initiatives across ETE, ETEE and beyond
• Work collaboratively to develop roadmaps and plans for lifecycle of existing Web and SharePoint portals and ongoing content management of the materials they contain
• Create/develop/edit/produce graphic and video content within BMO environment
• Contribute to online, email and in-hand employee communications (banners, posters, backgrounds etc.)
• Convert employee communications into engaging designs, produce creative presentations
• Support 'centre of excellence' for Web and SharePoint design with ETEE group

Core Knowledge and Skills:

• University degree or college diploma in Web Design or equivalent
• 3-5 years of work experience as a Web Designer including SharePoint Online
• Excellent working knowledge of SharePoint and associated platforms and tools including usage analytics and Microsoft 365 suite
• Working knowledge Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Xilisoft Video Converter, Camtasia, PowerPoint, and Word
• Proficient with HTML coding and experience with HTML5, proficient with CSS.
• Familiar with JavaScript programming and JQuery
• Understanding of working with corporate brands, physical and digital design guidelines
• Knowledge of cross-browser web authoring standards, and the challenges in cross-browser compatibility
• Knowledge of best practices around UI/UX design
• Understanding of working with corporate brands, physical and digital design guidelines
• Ability to work with limited supervision, is able to work autonomously within a remote team
• Self-starter, reliable, team player, detail oriented, ability to multi-task, organized, and work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

$74,800.00 - $138,600.00Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group's pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
