The Senior Manager, Branch Technology Experience will understand the overall business performance targets and desired customer and employee experience in order to redefine the way we approach and execute on our Branch Technology in three key areas (performance, capability, and service level) to deliver an improved employee and customer experience. The Senior Manager, Branch Technology Experience will work with appropriate technology and branch teams to help oversee the successful deployment of technology updates ensuring employees can easily access, understand and action. This role will support technology delivery strategies, ensuring effective representation of the business needs and goals including acting as the business sponsor or business partner for the deployment of various projects.
In addition, the Senior Manager, Branch Technology Experience will:
- Lead the team of Task Force Leads, to ensure the escalation process provided to the frontline continue to be effective and efficient, manage senior leader escalations and stakeholder management, while partnering with the BTE technology team to continue working towards our shared goals.
- Ensure technical issues / incidents are resolved in a timely manner, keeping 2-way communication with the field to ensure we have a strong pulse from the field on technology issues, and overseeing / partnering with our technology partners to address systemic / trending issues negatively impacting the frontline.
- Responsible for identifying, managing and driving improvement backlogs for BTE.
- Work closely with the BTE Change Lead to ensure the appropriate information of upcoming technology changes or best practices to minimize technology issues are shared and cascaded to the front line, ensuring employees can easily access, understand and action workarounds where available.
Qualifications:
- Possesses a university/degree/college diploma in related discipline(s) or equivalent work experience, 7-10 years of relevant experience
- People management experience
- Knowledge of distribution/branch systems is desired as is a strong aptitude for technology
- Detailed knowledge of systems and applications used by Personal & Business Banking
- In-depth knowledge of branch operating environment
- Exhibits solid knowledge of Enterprise technology standards and guidelines
- Possesses advanced presentation, facilitation and communication skills, both oral and written
- Demonstrates advanced relationship management and influence skills
- Illustrates advanced developed analytical skills
- Able to work well within a team and as an individual contributor
- Open to change, tolerant of ambiguity
- Highly motivated & demonstrates initiative
- Well-organized & detail oriented

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
