Your Impact at Empire
As our Analyst, Corporate Finance, you will create financial and valuation models and analyze insights to maximize returns on the Empire's investment portfolios within acceptable levels of risk while optimizing Empire's capital structure. This role will engage in cross functional partnerships, understand the full asset life cycle, and support processes end to end.
This role is located at our Empire Canada Head Office in Vaughan, ON.
What We Are Looking For:
- Degree or diploma in Real Estate, Business, Economics or Finance
- 1+ years experience in finance, investment, or asset management with a focus in real estate
- Experience in preparing detailed and professional investment recommendation presentations and/or reports
Bonus If You Have These Skills:
- Working towards completion of CPA, CFA or CBV
- Experience with preparing pitch books and investor materials for the purpose of raising capital for development projects, JV equity funds, or debt financing

What You'll Be Doing Each Day
- Develop, interpret, and communication financial models underpinning new and existing projects and fund structures
- Prepare valuation models for maintaining the Corporate Valuation and annual Fair Market Value analysis of Empire's land inventory
- Provide insights using quantitative and qualitative data on a location and market-level basis to generate pitch books for the purpose of sourcing external sources of capital
- Analyze and support in developing clear, compelling, and professional presentations that will be shared to senior internal and external stakeholders, detailing development feasibility, opportunities, risks, etc.
- Create and manage the Weekly Finance Report to be distributed weekly to Senior Management using Capital IQ
