This role will provide exposure to Corporate Finance activities. KPMG's Corporate Finance services are principally comprised of merger, acquisition and divestiture advisory services and financing services including raising debt and equity capital. We offer independent financial advisory and investment banking services to both private and public companies. Acting independently of financing sources, we provide clients with pure, objective advice, focusing on strategies that can help meet corporate objectives. i. mergers and acquisitions,
ii. debt and equity financing,
iii. restructuring,
iv. public and infrastructure finance,
v. valuations and
vi. transaction services.

Whether the client is a private company looking to sell, make an acquisition or raise capital; a public company looking to divest non-core assets or undertake a strategic acquisition in the far reaches of the globe; or an institutional investor needing proprietary knowledge or access, you'll be part of a team that strives to provide best-in-class advice and execution on complex transactions leveraging our global network to ensure our clients meet their objectives regardless of industry or geography.
The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of client services, including:
- Preparing, including research for, sales and marketing materials, such as confidential information memorandums for divestitures and capital advisory mandates
- Assisting in identification of potential acquisition targets, purchasers and/or investors
- Preparing and distributing of Investment Profiles and other key documents
- Conducting financial analysis and valuation/pricing analysis (including the development of financial models) of companies in a variety of industries
- Communicating directly with clients, advisors, Partners, Managers and colleagues
- Providing analytical and market research information (i.e., public company pricing multiples, industry research, etc.).
- Participating in a wide range of Corporate Finance-related assignments involving local, national and international clients
- Obtained an undergraduate degree in a business-related field
- Interest in pursuing the CPA, CBV and/or CFA designation(s)
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, writing and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and organization skills
- Highly motivated, achievement-oriented, with ability to work with changing priorities
