Our Business Analysts are the hands-on, business alignment primes with our Supply Chain Business partners. Working in an agile team, you will leverage your requirements and benefits analysis skills to help the squad build stories, refine backlogs, facilitating discussions and helping with product strategy. You partner closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Architects, Operations Support and Project Leads to build enterprise grade solutions.
In this role, you'll :
- Deliver quality work in an agile delivery model in a team environment
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders to extract requirements using best practice methods and tools.
- Create deliverables - process flows, business requirements documents, high level designs - for stakeholder approval using best practice methods and tools.
- Create and maintain product documentation and assist with epic and story management in JIRA
- Help the squad understand non-functional and functional requirements by bridging business and technical communications
- Work with Product Owners, technical groups and leadership teams to ensure all initiative benefits, deliverables and impacts are widely understood
- Participate in initiatives that contribute to the development of new Supply Chain strategies and co-ordinate and support their rollout
- Act as a change agent or subject matter expert for change initiatives
- Communicate timelines, dependencies, constraints, and progress quickly and effectively
- Track requirements through downstream processes to ensure consistent, accurate translation of requirements through design, build and test cycles.
- Business Analysis certification (CBAP preferred) or equivalent work experience in a retail supply chain environment
- Agile certification (SAFe, preferred)
- Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational
- Perform stakeholder analysis and requirements gathering session with key business stakeholders to establish business needs and workflows
- Proven analytical, critical thinking, documentation, and proactive problem-solving skills
- Comprehensive understanding of technology & software development processes and methodologies
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
- Develop and maintain business analysis artifacts (BRD, user stories, epics, use cases, etc.)
- Experience with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, JIRA and Confluence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of Supply Chain capabilities, such as Order Management, B2B, B2C and EDI
- High tolerance for ambiguity and high tolerance for change
- Creative and courageous, with the ability to manage in an environment of change and ambiguity
- Action oriented, and comfortable taking calculated risks to better serve our customers and business
