Process Management and Operations Support, Richmond Hill, ON (Hybrid: In-Office - Tues., Wed. and Thurs.)
The Opportunity
The Engineering PMO supports over 8,000 engineers at Opentext located across the globe. We are looking for a self-motivated analyst to support our work on standardizing our reporting and operations. This role will report directly to the VP, PMO (Project Management Office). Working closely with our Business Unit leaders, Cloud Operations leaders, FP&A, HR, and IT partners, you will contribute to our team by:
- Leading the documentation of integration processes
- Providing regular reporting as required
- Working with process leaders to identify issues in a timely manner, find solutions, identify options, and follow-up on implementation
- Following up on deliverables and reporting on project progress
You are great at:
- Preparing management presentations
- Investigating operations or process problems, providing summaries, options and recommendations.
- Communicating in a fast-paced environment
- Working under ever-changing demands and filling in the white space between departments and functions
- Understanding the needs of developers
- Taking the initiative to identify, resolve, and follow up on operational issues
What it takes:
- Bachelor's degree in programming or Business Administration or other relevant business degrees
- Prior experience in a Development or IT PMO type role is ideal
- Programming experience is a definite asset
- Project management experience is desirable
- Process Improvement experience is a plus
- Exceptional written, presentation, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Word.
